PTA Chairman and State Minister for IT Discuss 5G and Telecom Growth


Islamabad, In a significant development aimed at advancing Pakistan’s telecommunications landscape, Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Maj General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, held a crucial meeting with the State Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja. The discussion focused on pivotal topics such as the upcoming 5G spectrum auction, the nationwide enhancement of connectivity, and overall growth within the telecom sector.



According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, the meeting underscored the critical need for ongoing collaboration between the PTA and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) to bolster the availability and quality of digital services across Pakistan.
