Karachi, A Pakistan Navy warship has successfully conducted a high-seas rescue operation, saving eight Iranian fishermen from a dire situation after a massive fire engulfed their boat. According to Pakistan Navy, the distress call was received from an Iranian fishing vessel, reporting an uncontrollable fire onboard, prompting an immediate response. The PNS YARMOOK, operating in close proximity to the distressed boat, rushed to the scene. Despite the significant challenges posed by the heavy fire engulfing the vessel, the navy ship’s crew managed to safely rescue all eight fishermen from the sea. Furthermore, they utilized modern firefighting equipment to control and eventually extinguish the fire on the fishing boat.
