Defence Minister Condemns Terrorism, Stresses National Unity and Economic Recovery


Islamabad, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif affirmed the nation’s unwavering support for the security forces’ counter-terrorism efforts and condemned the recent terrorist attack in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. Speaking to media in Sialkot, the Minister underscored the sacrifices made by martyrs for the country’s peace and stability, while also criticizing a social media campaign against these heroes. Amid an economic crisis, Asif voiced disappointment over a political party’s communication with the International Monetary Fund, emphasizing the government’s commitment to economic recovery and development.
