Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Launches Public Communication Campaign in Mirpur, Addresses Key Issues

Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has initiated a public communication campaign in Mirpur to address the Kashmir cause, calling for unity and action against what he describes as Modi’s election conspiracies in India. Chaudhry emphasized the critical period the Kashmir movement is undergoing, denouncing the increase in violence in the occupied valley since August 2019 and urging global support to expose the Indian government’s actions.

According to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Awan Sadr, Kashmir House, Islamabad, the campaign was officially launched during an Iftar dinner at Quaid-e-Azam Stadium Mirpur, attended by notable figures including Minister for Housing and Physical Planning Chaudhry Yasir Sultan, Minister for Energy and Water Resources Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, and other dignitaries. The event highlighted the pressing issues in Kashmir, including the ongoing struggle for freedom, the rise in violence, and the importance of international advocacy for the Kashmiri cause.

President Chaudhry also addressed local concerns in Mirpur, promising swift action on the Rathoa Hariyam bridge project and efforts to improve the road network, clear encroachments, and tackle unemployment by prioritizing merit-based employment for the educated youth. The initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to resolving Mirpur’s longstanding issues and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.

The president’s call for unity and collaboration among Azad Kashmir’s political leadership and various schools of thought underlines the strategic approach to strengthening the Kashmir cause at both local and international levels.
