Waza pays tributes to martyrs of Handwara

Srinagar, January 25, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, has paid glowing tributes to Handwara martyrs on the occasion of their 23rd martyrdom anniversary.

Addressing a Milad congregation at Aishmuqam, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza greeted the people on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and urged them to follow the path of prophet Mohammad (SAW) for their success in this world and the hereafter.

He said that Eid Milad marked the day of justice, peace and freedom from slavery. “At the time of the birth of prophet Muhammad (SAW) slavery got vanished and the concept of freedom got its birth.”

The APHC leader said that the Kashmiris were being killed just for raising the voice for their birthright to self-determination. He demanded early resolution of the Kashmir dispute for the stability and prosperity of South Asian region.

Waza appealed to the international community especially the OIC to help the Kashmiris in achieving their right to self-determination for which they had rendered unparallel scarifies. He maintained that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical conclusion. He said that Kashmir was a political issue and needed to be resolved politically on humanitarian grounds.
