Unresolved Kashmir threat to regional peace: Prof But

Srinagar, December 01, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, has said that the unresolved Kashmir dispute can disturb peace in the whole South Asian region.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt addressing a delegate session of his party from Sangrama Zone at Tarzoo in Sopore said that Kashmir dispute had reached to a point where it was imperative for Pakistan and India to resolve it according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people to ensure peace in the region.

He said that people of Kashmir had rendered unparallel sacrifices for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute and their genuine leadership must be included in the dialogue process between Pakistan and India.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt said, Muslim Conference seeks a solution, which must be honourable, durable and everlasting. He said that if the big powers of the world could bring Iran on nuclear negotiations, then they should also settle the lingering Kashmir dispute.
