Two dacoits and six outlaws arrested: weapons recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested eight outlaws from various area of the city for their alleged involvement in dacoities, keeping illegal weapons and recovered five pistols and a gun from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Ghulam Mustafa and Muhammad Hanif from Shehzad town police station nabbed three persons Asif, Waheed Gul and Raza Abbass for having a total of three 30 bore pistols and 11 rounds.

ASI Muhammad Ishaq from Sabzi Manid police arrested an accused Izhar Ahmed in possession of 30 bore pistol while ASI Abrar Hussain from Tarnol police apprehended an accused Jawad Ali during routine patrolling for having 30 bore pistols.

Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Bhara Kau police arrested an accused Ali for having 12 bore repeater while ASI Muhammad Raees from Margallah police nabbed two dacoits Haeef and Shehzad residents of Sargodha.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

SSP Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed to intensify efforts against anti-social elements.
