Time not suitable for talks with India: Javed Mir

Srinagar, December 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader, Javed Ahmad Mir has said that holding talks with the Indian government on Kashmir dispute at this juncture is a futile exercise.

Javed Ahmad Mir addressing a function at Khamoi, Wanpoi and Qazigund areas of Islamabad district said that India was never serious and sincere in peaceful settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute but was only using delaying tactics to buy the time and deceive the international community.

“In view of forthcoming parliament elections in India, the talks between Kashmiri representatives and the present government in India won’t bear any fruit,” he added.
