Three Arrested for Torturing and Disobeying Parents in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Islamabad Capital Police arrested three individuals for disobeying and torturing their parents, as part of an initiative to address public issues on a priority basis. The police teams from Karachi Company and Noon police stations apprehended the suspects following reports of mistreatment towards their parents.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Operations, Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari, stated that the police arrested three individuals identified as Munir, Qalb Muhammad Abrar, and Zeeshan Ali for misbehaving, demanding money, and torturing their parents. Cases were registered against the accused, and further investigation is currently underway.

DIG Operations Bukhari issued directives to all police stations to take immediate legal action upon receiving complaints from parents regarding disobedience or mistreatment by their children. He emphasized that the police are dedicated to addressing public concerns, with a focus on protecting the life and property of citizens while ensuring their self-respect.

DIG Bukhari also reiterated that all police stations should resolve citizen complaints within a given time frame. He noted that the police’s primary responsibility is to resolve issues on a priority basis and ensure equal rights for every citizen.

These arrests reflect the Islamabad Capital Police’s efforts to maintain public order and uphold familial respect in the community, emphasizing the importance of addressing cases of domestic abuse and violence against parents.
