Technical and trade education should be promoted: Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar

Karachi, October 04, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that there are massive openings and opportunities for the students of rural Sindh if they get education in better environment and high quality educational institutions. This he said while talking to a delegation of Dr. A.Q. Khan School System Ibrahim Campus here in his office. Director A.Q. Khan School System Nasir Iqbal and MD SEF Naheed Shah Durrani also attended the meeting.

Director Nasir Iqbal offered students of Sindh Education Foundation to get educational facilities in Islamabad campus and they could accommodate 200 students from rural Sindh in Islamabad campus. The Minister Education, while welcoming the offer, said that it would be a matter great pleasure for the students of humble background to get high quality education in Islamabad and an MoU would be signed between Sindh government and Dr. A.Q. Khan school system.

The Minister E and L Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said that Sindh Education Department was keen to give buildings to the renowned chain of schools so that the children of less privileged areas might get high quality education at very cheap fees. The Minister was informed that a simple test of Urdu, English, Maths and Science would be conducted to determine the eligibility of the students. In first phase 200 students from rural Sindh will get education in Islamabad and in next phase the number of students will increase gradually.
