Teaching of Sindhi language in private schools be ensured: Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar

Karachi, October 18, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that a meeting with the management of private schools will be convened soon to ensure that Sindhi language to be taught in private schools from three class and in this regard the director general private institutions has issued a notification as well. This he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office on Tuesday.

Director General Colleges Dr. Nasir Ansar and Director General Private Institutions Dr. Mansoob Siddiqui also attended the meeting. He said that the education department would make all out efforts that Sindhi language should be taught in private schools and the Minister Education also asked the management of private schools to cooperate with the government and the government knew how to implement the writ of the government.

Meanwhile the Minister Education Jam Mehtab directed the DG Colleges to speed up the supply of the furniture to the colleges because the teaching process was in progress in the colleges. And where there was shortage of the furniture, it should be meted out. He also asked him to submit the list of the colleges with enrolment where the furniture was being supplied and the transparency must be maintained.

The Minister Education further directed DG colleges to increase enrolment in evening shift colleges and also ensure the attendance of the teachers in the colleges. He said that he would take strict action if he found any maladministration in the supply of the furniture and DG Colleges to pay regular visits to the colleges.
