Speaker National Assembly arrives in Sri Lanka

Islamabad, December 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will call on the Speaker of Sri Lankan Parliament Hon. Chamal Rajapaksa tomorrow in Colombo, Sri lanka. According to a message received from Sri Lanka, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq arrived in Sri Lanka today (19th December 2013) on a two days official visit, undertaken on the invitation of Sri Lanka’s Speaker of Parliament Hon Chamal Rajapaksa while heading towards Male, Maldives to attend the 7th SAARC Speaker Conference.

The invitation was conveyed by the Deputy Speaker of Sri-Lankan Parliament Chandima Weerakkody, during his recent visit to Pakistan. The visit of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.

During his short stay in Colombo, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will also hold a meeting with members of Sri Lanka-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Association in Sri Lankan Parliament and attend a luncheon hosted by the Association in his honour.
