Sound sleep, exercise and lifestyle help to reduce mental illness: Dr. Naseem

Karachi, March 24, 2014 (PPI-OT): Youth Department Government of Sindh holds youth health awareness programs on “Mental Health” in Karachi, Sajawal, Thatta, Hyderabad, Tando Bago and other cities of 10 colleges. Renowned Neurologist Dr. Naseem Akhtar said, sound sleep, exercise and good lifestyles reduce the risk of mental illness.

Prevalence of mental disorder in our country is dangerous. Project Director, Saleem Ahmed Siddiqui said smoking enhance illness mentally and physically. Try to avoid smoking otherwise it creates a lot of problems for youth in future. Coordinator Ms. Zakia said prayers and yoga provide relaxation to mind. We will try to save our youth from mental illness.
