Sindh Bar President Advocate Mansoor Khan will defend Mirza in blasphemous remarks case – Documents submitted in SHC during the hearing of Rauf Siddiqui’s petition

Islamabad: President of Sindh bar Association Mr. Advocate Mansoor Ahmad Khan will defend former home Minister Mr. Zulfiqar Mirza in Blasphemous remarks case. His documents was submitted in SHC during the hearing of Minister for Commerce and industries Sindh Mr. Rauf Siddiqui’s petition against former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza for delivering Blasphemous remarks on his press conference on 9th October 2011.

Lowers of Mirza requested to the SHC that Advocate Mansoor Ahmad Khan are busy in a case at SC therefore give some relaxation for the preparation of this Blasphemous remarks case. SHC accepted the request. Further proceeding of this case will be held on 31 March.

Hearing on the petition of Rauf Siddiqui was held on Friday in the court of Justice Muhammad Mazhar Ali at SHC. Mr. Rauf Siddiqui were present himself in court with his lawyers panel. On that Occasion Mr. Rauf Siddiqui raise objection and said that this is delaying tactics, Blasphemous remarks case is very important for the whole Muslims, SHC Should give judgment as soon as possible, He requested for register FIR Against Mirza first and said that Lawyers who wish to defend Mirza, they should come and defend but at least FIR should Register.

On that occasion Justice Muhammad Mazhar Ali deliver remarks that there is nothing wrong in listening again the version of Mirza’s Lowers and he adjourned the hearing till 31 March.
