Sharjeel Inam Memon appeals to Chief Justice of Pakistan to issue show cause notices to subordinate courts that not to issue stay orders against removal of encroachments

Karachi, April 14, 2015 (PPI-OT): Sindh Minister for local government Sharjeel Inam Memon has appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan to issue show cause notices to subordinate courts that not to issue stay orders against removal of encroachments and demolition of illegal wedding halls.

This was stated by him while talking to media during a demolition of three illegal marriage halls in Orangi town here on Tuesday which were running under the garb of schools. He said these stay orders hampers in the operation against illegal encroachments and wedding halls.

He stressed that this operation was not being done against any political party nor being done under any pressure and said let me make it clear he was not being pressurized by anyone in this regard. Minister said no one is dictating us for the operation , he said a marriage hall was demolished today as it was a school plot but by making a small school marriage halls was functioning.

Memon said this operation would continue till all the encroachments are not removed from the province including Karachi. Referring to ghost employees in KMC he said that a list more than 1000 ghost employees has been prepared and final action is awaited.
