Session Judge Malir Imdad Hussain Khoso with Magistrate visited District Jail Malir 33 Prisoners Released

Karachi: Under the new Judicial Policy of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), the District and Session Judge Malir Imdad Hussain Khoso and Judicial Magistrates Muhammad Ashfaq Mughal, Naveed Asghar Sheikh and PS to DJ Malir Zubair bin Mehmood visited the District Jail Malir.

Joint Secretary Fateh M. Qureshi besides the Jail Superintendent Syed Nazir Hussain Shah Deputy Superintendent Ali Bux Sheikh, Assistant Superintendents Shahabuddin Siddiqui, Kamal Bukhari and other jail officials were present on the occasion. They went round various barracks, met the prisoners and acquired about the details of ongoing cases in various courts. He met the prisoners in barracks and listened to their problems and assured them of speedy justice. On the occasion large number of prisoners presented applications for an early hearing of their cases while many submitted applications for review of the court decisions.

During his visit to various barracks, 23 prisoners informed the judge that they have completed their sentence but are in jail because of inability to pay the fined amount. The Chairman Saiban, Haq Nawaz Akhtar paid the amount of the fine and got them released including other 10 Prisoners who given relaxation few days, thus total 33 prisoners released.
