Secretary Livestock and Fisheries reviews all ongoing and new development schemes, projects in the year 2016-17

Karachi, December 07, 2016 (PPI-OT): Baseline would be conducted for the availability of land for new cattle colonies all over Sindh in the year 2016-17 approved development schemes so that the farmers and common man would get benefit of such development project in the livestock and fisheries sector. This he said by the Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Mr. Ghulam Hussain Memon while reviewing the all development schemes / projects at his office here today.

The Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Ghulam Hussain Memon reviewed the 2016-17 ongoing and new schemes with officials of Livestock, works and services and other department representatives. The Secretary Livestock exhorted upon respective officials that to supervise and monitor all the development schemes regularly and paid surprise visit with officers of works and services for timely completion, transparencyand proper utilization of government funds without delay.

He said that no negligence would be tolerated if any official found guilty and delinquent in this regard. He further said that to clear all the schemes from DG Design with approval of rough cost and expenditure. The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and the Minister Livestock Muhammad Ali Malkani have also desired to welfare and well being of the farmers and common men under this direction, they would visit all such schemes reviewed properly the quality of work and transparency, he added.

The meeting was reviewed total 40 different ongoing and new schemes with 25 ongoing and 15 new schemes in Livestock، Fisheries and poultry schemes. Observation of the works and services department would be rectified accordingly and ensure quality work and transparency at any cost, send a detailed report of monitoring and joint visit of the respective officials of all development schemes within one week time.
