Pakistan Meteorological Department rain and snowfall over the hills forecast in western and upper parts of country from tomorrow to Monday.
According to an a weather advisory issued by National Disaster Management Authority, light to moderate rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Ziarat, Nokkundi, Dalbandin, Harnai, Qilla Saifullah, Qilla Abdullah, Chaman and Pishin.
Moderate rain with snowfall over the hills is also expected in Murree, Galliyat, Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Mir pur), Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, Shigar), Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra and Abbottabad. Light rain is also expected in Islamabad, Pothohar region, Charsada, Bajaur, Kurram, Waziristan and Kohat.
NDMA advised all departments concerned to undertake measures as per their respective mandate.
