Rain-wind with thunderstorm and snowfall over the hills is expected in Islamabad, Pothohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, northeast and central Punjab and north Balochistan during the next twelve hours.

However, moderate to isolated heavy snowfall may occur in hilly areas. Isolated heavy falls and hailstorm is also expected in upper parts during the period.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade, Lahore nine, Karachi thirteen, Peshawar ten, Quetta and Murree two and Gilgit one degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula while cloudy with chances of rain in Jammu.

Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian minus one degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus ten, Anantnag and Baramula zero degree centigrade.
