Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan Sheikh Saoud Albulrahman Al-Thani has said that his country attaches great importance to its fraternal relations with Pakistan and wants to further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with Qatar’s National Day in Islamabad on Thursday, he said relations between two nations, based on solid foundations, have seen remarkable development in recent years in all fields.
The Ambassador said during the recent visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Doha, Qatar announced to investment in Pakistan worth 3 billion dollars.
He said that Amir of Qatar has stressed the importance of the brotherly and strategic relations between the two countries and their aspiration to enhance economic partnership.
The envoy lauded the significant contribution of 210,000 Pakistan expatriates in the development of Qatar.
