Punjab University awards PhD degrees to 7 candidates
Lahore: Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to Ashi D/o Abdul Ghani in the subject of Education after approval of her research thesis entitled “A Study of Perceptions and Responses of Faculty and Administration of Business Schools about the External Change Factors,” Rana Amjad Ali S/o Hafiz Niaz Ahmed Rana in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his research thesis entitled “Genetic Basis of Sound Transduction,” Shazia Sadaf D/o Muhammad Saeed in the subject of Urdu after approval of her research thesis entitled “Ishfaq Ahmad Ki Adabi Khidmat Urdu Adab Kay Tanazur Main,” Ghulam Hussain S/o Abdur Rahman in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his research thesis entitled “Contemporary Oriental it’s on Muhammad’s Life at Madina: A Critical Analysis,” Muhammad Abid Nadeem S/o Rehmat Ali in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his research thesis entitled “Quranic Fauna and Flora in the Light of Islamic Literature and Biology,” Shazia Bashir D/o Muhammad Bashir in the subject of Persian after approval of her research thesis entitled “Comparative Research Analysis of Art and Thoughts of Khawaja Hafiz Shirazi and Khawaja Ghulam Farid” and Tasneem Ikram D/o Muhammad Ikram Bajwa the subject of Zoology after approval of her research thesis entitled “Dental Morphological Studies of True Ungulates from the Type Locality of Nagri Formation, Punjab Pakistan.” They have completed their theses under the supervision of Prof Dr Fouzia Naheed Khawaja Ex Chairperson PU IER’s Department of Elementary Education, Prof Dr S Riazuddin of PU National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, Prof Dr M Fakhar-ul-Haq Noori Chairman PU Department of Urdu, Prof Dr Shabbir Ahmad Mansoori Chairman PU Department of Islamic Studies, Prof Dr Hafiz Mahmood Akhtar Chairman PU Department of Islamic Studies, Dr Muhammad Nasir of PU Department of Persian and Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtar Chairman PU Department of Zoology, respectively.
