Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched Pakistan's first fully electric mechanical sweeper truck, specifically designed for use on the Lahore Ring Road.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister received a briefing on the truck's capabilities, including its ability to operate for seventy kilometres on a full charge.
The introduction of this modern truck is expected to significantly lower environmental pollution and road dust due to its zero carbon emissions. Additionally, it aims to reduce noise pollution and cut down on fuel and maintenance expenses.
