Faisalabad: Provision of quality services are imperative for the expeditious development of FESCO, said Tariq Mehmood Chattha Chief Executive Officer Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) addressing the officers of Sargodha circle here Wednesday.

He said that only unavoidable shut down should be allowed due to the harsh weather. He said that Assistant Managers Operation should also ensured their presence on the sight of work to ensure its in time completion without any unnecessary delay.

He also directed the staff to expedite recovery campaign and said that meters of defaulters should be removed as soon as Equipment Removal Order (ERO) is issued. It would help ensuring the 100 percent recovery of pending dues. The Chief Executive also directed the expedite work on HT and LT proposals to ensure early completion of the ongoing projects. Continuing, Chief Executive said that electricity theft is a nation crime hence it should be discouraged at all cost.

He said that cases should be lodged against power pilferers in order to control the line loses. Earlier, Malik Ashfaq, Manger Operation Sargodha, Circle and Sheikh Amil Siddiqui Deputy Director Technical briefed the Chief Executive. Tariq Mehmood Chattha expressed satisfaction over the overall performance of the Sargodha, circle. All the Deputy Managers and Assistant Managers of Sargodha circles were also present during the meeting.
