Ramnagar, In a direct appeal to voters, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has called for a significant shift in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, urging the electorate not to be swayed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rhetoric but to focus on substantive issues.

s Ramnagar, Gandhi criticized the current government’s track record on various fronts, including unemployment, inflation, and governance scandals. She challenged the audience to reflect on the Modi administration’s decade in power and its impact on their personal and communal well-being.
“Before you cast your vote, honestly ask yourself if the past ten years under Prime Minister Modi have brought positive changes to your life,â€� Gandhi stated. She highlighted unresolved promises such as the creation of two crore jobs and the pledge to deposit Rs 15 lakh in every citizen’s bank account, issues that resonate with many Indian voters.
Gandhi also addressed the misuse of religious sentiments in politics, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of leveraging religion to win votes, and called for accountability for crimes that had caught national attention, such as the murder of Ankita Bhandari and the case in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh.
The Lok Sabha elections are set to commence on April 19, with the results scheduled to be announced on June 4, offering a critical test for the ruling BJP and an opportunity for opposition parties like Congress to reclaim influence.
