Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to visit Thailand from 17-19 November

Islamabad, November 17, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will be visiting Thailand from November 17 -19, 2013. He will be proceeding to Bangkok from Colombo after completing his visit to Sri Lanka where he represented Pakistan in the Common Wealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

During his visit to Thailand, the Prime Minister will address the Inaugural Session of Connect Asia Pacific Summit 2013 and also witness the IMPACT Exhibition at Bangkok.

Executive Secretary of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Ms. Noeleen Heyzer, will call on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during his visit. Prime Minister will also attend a Luncheon Meeting with prominent Thai and Pakistani businessmen.

Prime Minister of Pakistan will hold meeting and delegation level talks with the Thai Prime Minister. The Thai Prime Minister will host a Gala Dinner in honour of Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and his Spouse during the visit.

Minister for Information Technology Ms. Anusha Rehman, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Mr. Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Mr. Jalil Abbass Jilani are accompanying the Prime Minister.
