President appoints Abdul Rauf Chaudhry as Federal Tax Ombudsman

Islamabad, July 06, 2013 (PPI-OT): President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of the Prime Minister, has appointed Mr. Abdul Rauf Chaudhry as Federal Tax Ombudsman for a period of four years.

The Summary of M/o Law, Justice and Human Rights states that 04 years tenure of Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Suddle, Federal Tax Ombudsman, has expired on 02.06.2013.

The Ministry recommended to the Prime Minister to advise the President to appoint Mr. Abdul Rauf Chaudhry against the post being most suitable person. Accordingly acting upon the advice of the Prime Minister, the President has approved the appointment of Mr. Abdul Rauf Chaudhry as Federal Tax Ombudsman for a period of four years from the date on which he assumes charge of office of Federal Tax Ombudsman.
