Islamabad:President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their successful operations in Balochistan, which resulted in the killing of seventeen terrorists reportedly sponsored by India. The operations took place in the Kachhi and Kharan districts of the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, the President and Prime Minister released separate statements acknowledging the efforts of the security personnel. They specifically paid homage to Sepoy Hikmat Ullah, who lost his life during the operation in Kharan district. Both leaders offered prayers for the martyred soldier and extended their condolences to his family.
President Zardari emphasized that operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative will persist until terrorism supported by foreign elements is eradicated from Pakistan. Prime Minister Sharif echoed this sentiment, highlighting the significant achievements of the security forces in combating terrorism and reaffirming the government's commitment to eliminating terrorism in all its forms.
