Political, administrative measures required to solve problems in Karachi
Karachi: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan has said the solution of problems faced in Karachi lies in political and administrative measures. Talking to the Ambassador of France, Daniel Jouanneau, who called on him here on Thursday, he said this also demanded that all political parties make a joint and firm decision to make the metropolis free of terrorism, extremism and sectarianism.
The French Ambassador to Pakistan was also accompanied by his country’s Consul General in Karachi.
The new CG of Malaysia in Karachi Abu Bakr Mammut also called on the Sindh Governor.
The Governor talking to the guests said it was satisfying to find all political parties keen to get Karachi freed of terrorists and terrorism. He said Karachi is the commercial hub and disturbance here had a chain effect on the entire country.
He said concerted efforts were required to restore the confidence of foreign investors. On the occasion the Ambassador of France to Pakistan appreciated the Sindh Governor for his efforts to develop political assimilation and unity among different groups and sections of the society.
