People from different walks of life welcome Federal Budget

People from different walks of life have hailed the federal budget for next fiscal year, and termed it balanced and relief oriented in the current challenging conditions.

Talking to Radio Pakistan’s correspondent Ghulam Haider in Lahore today [Saturday], President of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Irfan Iqbal Sheikh said the budget is people friendly and government has taken mega initiatives keeping in view the problems of the people.

President of Lahore Press Club, Azam Chaudhary appreciated the government’s decision to remove taxes on agricultural machinery to further improve agricultural sector.

Talking to our Bahawalpur correspondent, President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hafiz Muhammad Younas praised the government for presenting business friendly budget which will strengthen economy.

Renowned Economist at Islamia University Bahawalpur Professor Dr Ali Azam said allocation of over sixty five billion rupees for Higher Education in the budget will promote higher education in the country. He also praised the government for restoring laptop scheme for students and provision of easy loans to the youth for employment.

Talking to APP, the traders of Rawalpindi said the budget will reduce burden on the poor and middle class as it proposes reducing taxes on them while increasing taxes on the rich.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, people belonging to different walks of life have also hailed the federal budget 2022-23.

Talking to Radio Pakistan Peshawar Correspondent, President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hasnain Khursheed Ahmad has termed the federal budget balanced and export oriented.

He expressed the hope that the budget will bring positive changes in the economic development of the country.

President Chemist and Druggist Association Peshawar Fazli Wahid Khan said the budget is business and public friendly.
