Due to a short circuit in parliament, all its offices have been shutdown for three days.
The Speaker National Assembly and the Senate Chairman immediately took notice of the situation and directed the authorities concerned to immediately address the problem.
According to the Senate Secretariat, no human or material loss has happened. However, as a precautionary measure, the whole building will be inspected.
The Senate session which was scheduled today has also been adjourned to meet again on Thursday.
