Pakistan Tanners Association lauds police, Rangers surveillance in Tannery Zone

Karachi, December 18, 2013 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Tanners Association (S.Z) Chairman Fawad Jawed has lauded the services by the Sindh Rangers and police for their strict vigilance at Tannery Zone of Korangi Industrial Area due to which the crime rate has gone down to a significant level.

Fawad in a statement highly appreciated the cooperation extended by Bhitai Rangers’ Col. Jawed Baloch and Korangi’s S. P. Usman Ejaz Bajwa for improve law and order condition in Tannery Zone. He said that the crime rate has come down by 50 per cent with the efforts of the two officials of the Rangers and Police in a short span of time.

He mentioned that both the officials have been coordinating with PTA to strengthen the security in and around Tannery Zone and the industrialists engaged in exports of leather and leather made-ups can now focus on their work in the current peaceful scenario.

He was confident that rangers and police will keep extending their support to enforce and maintain the peaceful industrial atmosphere and further improve it to restore confidence of the leather exporters so that the leather industry can play its due roll and contribute to the national economy.
