Islamabad:Pakistan's rice exports have shown a significant increase, achieving historic growth despite ongoing tensions in the Gulf region and disruptions to international shipping routes.
According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan outperformed Vietnam, the world's third-largest rice exporter, by exporting 420,000 tonnes of rice in September, compared to Vietnam's 337,000 tonnes.
Pakistan's rice export volume saw a 51% increase during the first quarter of the current financial year, marking a noteworthy achievement for the country's agricultural sector.
