Pakistan Hajj Mission asks pilgrims to strictly follow Saudi laws

The Pakistan Hajj Mission has asked Pakistani Hujjaj to strictly follow the Saudi laws during their stay in Saudi Arabia to protect the soft image of the country.

Talking to Radio Pakistan's Special Correspondent Ijaz Hussain on Wednesday, Director Hajj Makkah Sajid Manzoor Asadi said that last night, the Saudi police informed the mission that 26 pilgrims have been stopped at the Highway towards Madinah for trying to travel without permission.

He said that the mission immediately approached the authorities concerned; resultantly the Saudi police released the pilgrims.

He said Hujjaj have already enjoyed eight-day stay in the holy city of Madinah before Hajj rituals and they should not try to go again.

He said that Pakistan Hajj Mission Makkah has already displayed travel instructions in the residential buildings of Pakistani pilgrims to guide them, which must be followed.

Meanwhile, a large number of Hujjaj visited Jabal-e-Noor, Jabal-e- Thowr and other places of Islamic and historical importance located in Makkah during their stay in the holy city.

The Jabal-e-Noor or "Mountain of Light" is famous for the Cave of Hira and this was the place where Hazrat Muhammad Sallalhu Alaihe wa Aalehi Wassalam wa Ashabehi Khatam-un-Nabiyyeen was blessed with the first five verses of Quran. Muslims, during their visit, climbed the rock to reach the cave on the top and seek blessings.

This cave is located at a height of 634 meters from the surface and 4 kilometers away from Holy Kaba.

Hujjaj also visited Jabal-e-Thowr, the Holy Prophet along with his companions, took refuge after being targeted and chased by the tribe of Quraysh and this cave has also hold a special place in the hearts of Muslims all around the world.

They also visited other places including Masjid-e-Jinn, Birthplace of the Holy prophet and Mashair.
