Pakistan Embassy College holds annual English debate

Islamabad: Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB) held a lovely debate on ‘Superiority of Men a Myth” here Friday, says a press release received here today from Beijing.

The Ambassador of Sudan to China Mirghani Muhammed Salih was the chief guest on the occasion.

The students presented strong point of view in favour and against the topic and got lot of applause from a large number of attendees.

The senior diplomats from Pakistan Embassy and teachers of PECB also witnessed the over one hour long debate.

Later Ambassador Mirghani Mohammed gave away prizes to the winners.

The first prize won by Ali Zahoor, while Hamna Asif got second prize Jun Wei Loh was adjudged winner of third prize.

In all eight students took part in the debate Earlier, the principal of PECB Sqn Ldr (Rtd) Tarique Mahmood Malak in his welcome address said that holding of curricular and extracurricular activities help develop healthy mind.

He said that PECB provides excellent educational environment to students and at present there are 380 students from 58 nationalities studying in PECB.
