Pakistan, Argentine agree to sign deal to promote exchange of visits by Students, Researchers and professionals

Islamabad, July 23 2013 (PPI-OT): Ambassador of Argentine, Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia called on Minister of State for Education, Training and Standards in Higher Education Eng. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman here today.

The Ambassador expressed the good wishes of the people of Argentine for the people of Pakistan and said that friendly exchanges between the two countries should be encouraged especially in the field of technical education.

It was agreed that an MOU in this regard shall be signed between the two countries to promote exchange of visits by students, researchers and professionals. The Ambassador lauded the efforts of the present government and said that it is going on the right track. He termed education a long-term investment and offered his country’s assistance in this regard. The Minister thanked the Ambassador and presented him a souvenir at the end of the meeting.
