Pakistan’s Ambassador Calls on Governor Eastern Region

Islamabad: Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, H.E. Muhammad Naeem Khan called on the Governor of eastern region, Prince Muhammad bin Fahad bin Abdul Aziz in his office today and discussed matters of mutual interest, says a press release received from Jeddah here today.

The Ambassador said that there was a large number of Pakistani Community in the Eastern province contributing for the socio-economic development of the region. The Ambassador admired the hallmark economic development and prosperity made in the Eastern Region especially in the fields of petrochemicals and related industries.

The Ambassador discussed with the Governor, issues relating to the Pakistani community in the Eastern region including expediting compensation cases of Pakistani community and early release of those who have completed their sentences.

The Ambassador also discussed with the Governor, the permission for holding free medical camp for the Pakistani community and the matter of admissions in higher education to Pakistani students.

The Governor of Eastern Province Prince Muhammad bin Fahad bin Abdul Aziz said that Pakistan was very dear and close to Saudi Arabia and its prosperity and stability was very dear to the leadership. He said that Pak-Saudi relations were of strategic nature and it was the endeavour of the Saudi leaders to further deepen these ties.

The Governor appreciated the contributions of the Pakistani community towards the socio-economic developments of Saudi Arabia and the Eastern Region. He assured the Ambassador that he will resolve all those problems faced by the Pakistani community in the region on priority basis and also assured him of consideration for allowing free medical camp and admission of Pakistani students to higher education institutions in the Eastern region.
