National Assembly Speaker, Acting Speaker condemn militant attack at school in Peshawar

Islamabad, December 16, 2014 (PPI-OT): Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Acting Speaker National Assembly have strongly condemned the militant attack on school at Warsak Road in Peshawar today. They termed it a national tragedy.

In their separate statements, the Speaker and Acting Speaker termed it a barbaric and shameful act of terrorism. They said that the elements involved in such activities were enemy of the country. They said that the no religion of the world permitted to attack on the schools. They said that terrorists were playing with the lives of innocent people and they could not save themselves from the wrath of Allah.

They expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and sympathized with bereaved families. They were confident that the culprits involved in this heinous act will not be spared and will be brought to justice. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the souls of martyred in eternal peace and for early recovery of injured. They asked for provision of best medical facilities to the injured.
