National Accountability Bureau Rawalpindi distributes allotment letters among 700 affectees of Manzer-e-Kohsar of Ahbab Housing Society

Islamabad, August 27, 2015 (PPI-OT):The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has distributed allotment letters among 700 affectees of Manzer-e-Kohsar of Ahbab Housing Society, Mouza Jhandu at a ceremony held at NAB Rawalpindi. Acting Chairman NAB Admiral (R) Saeed Ahmed Sargana was the Chief Guest at this occasion who handed over the allotment letters to the affectees.

The Director General NAB Rawalpindi Zahir Shah briefed about the efforts made by NAB officers/officials for issuance of allotment letters affectees of Manzer-E-Kohsar of Ahbab Housing Society, Mouza Jhandu. He said that the management of Manzer-E-Kohsar established Manzer-E-Kohsar of Ahbab Housing Society in 1988. They received money from general public but legal formalities like NOC and development plan were not approved from the concerned Regulatory Authority. Around 700 members of the society were allotted plots of different category but were not provided possession of the same to the affectees.

Addressing as Chief Guest at the ceremony, Acting Chairman NAB Rear Admiral (R) Saeed Ahmed Sargana appreciated the efforts of NAB Rawalpindi under the supervision of DG NAB Rawalpindi for actively pursuing the Management of Manzer-E-Kohsar and thus issuance of allotment letters to the affectees who invested their hard earned money in an unauthorized scheme. He urged the people to invest only in the government approved housing societies.

The NAB Acting Chairman said that NAB is committed to eradicate corruption by using all its resources across the board. He advised all officers/officials of NAB Rawalpindi to work hard and further improve their performance to achieve higher standards of transparency, efficiency and integrity in conduct of inquiries/investigations.
