In Ukraine, 33 people were killed and dozens others injured in a missile attack on a convoy of cars in Zaporizhzhia city on Friday.

The convoy was assembling in a car park to carry people and supplies into Russian controlled territory in Zaporizhzhia province.

The attack took place as Russia is due to annex four Ukrainian regions seized by it in the war.

The annexation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia with Russia will take place at a ceremony in Kremlin today following referendums in the areas.
