Minister for Information condemns attack on FRP Deputy Commandant

Peshawar, July 25 2013 (PPI-OT): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health and spokesman of the provincial government Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, has severely condemned the attack on FRP Deputy Commandant Gul Wali Khan and lauded the sacrifices of the police force in the fight against terrorism which he said would not go wasted and would prove fruitful for bringing peace in the region.

Talking to media after attending the funeral of the guard of the deputy commandant in the police line Peshawar and inquiring about the health of the injured Deputy Commandant Gul Wali Khan at the Lady Reading Hospital on Thursday, Shaukat Yousafzai said that the whole nation was standing side by side with the police force and he was proud of the exemplary sacrifices of the force for the sake of their country. The minister sympathized with the son of the injured Deputy Commandant Gul Wali Khan and consoled him with the remarks that they would not be left alone in this hour of tragedy.

To a question the minister health said that it was purely an act of terrorism as the police force was directly opposing terrorism and was out to extirpate it that was why it was being made target by the terrorists. He said it would be their outmost endeavour to bring the province to normalcy with the support of the security bodies.

He said till a clear national policy had not been devised for the prevention of terrorism and proper announcement had not been made to part ways with the war of others, no permanent solution was expected to get out of terrorism.

He said the motive of the PTI was very clear on terrorism and they wanted to stop more bloodshed in the region permanently and protect the dwellers of the region from being made coal of the existing war. In reply to another question the minister health appealed to the general masses to cooperate with the government in this critical time and don’t bring out vehicles without number plates especially motorcycles as they were in the state of war and not living normally.

He said it was the need of the hour that every sort of help might be extended to the security agencies. The minister prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased guards and early recovery of the Deputy Commandant Gul Wali Khan.
