Minister attends 27th convocation of Roots International Schools

Islamabad, April 02, 2015 (PPI-OT): Minister of State Baleegh Ur Rehman attended the 27th Annual Convocation of Roots International Schools at convention centre today. Team work makes you a winner, said the State Minister. Minister of State congratulated the students and their parents on their passing out and wished them a prosperous future. He admired the whole team of Roots International Schools in not only educating and training the students but placing them in the prestigious universities and professional institutes as well.

Minister of State emphasized that our government under the honourable leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is doing every possible effort to improve and revolutionized the education system in Pakistan and by the grace of Allah the results are coming in. Literacy rate has been increased and dropout rate has been minimized, our literacy rate is 60% now. And we have achieved all this in just the period of 1.5yrs.

Although it’s still very low and we have a long way to go but we are working towards betterment and we will achieve our goals in no time. Quality education is the right of every Pakistani therefore we are trying to develop a better curriculum as well, emphasized the State Minister.

In the end Minister of State said that the character building and self fulfilment are the real goals of the education. We need to develop the habit of listening and respecting the point of views of others with the generous heart and liberal mind because this is the only way to success. Convocation was attended by the Minister of State of Frontier Region, Ambassador of Denmark, and other national and foreign dignitaries.
