Library Culture Must Be Flourished: Maula Baksh Chandio

Islamabad: Federal Law Minister, Maula Baksh Chandio made a surprise visit of the library of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. Acting secretary, Syed Sultan Ahmed also accompanied him on the occasion.

He said that libraries are the most valued asset of every nation and the library culture must be flourished for their proper social, cultural and economic progress.

Federal Law Minister, Maula Baksh Chandio enquired about the problems of the library. He asked the Acting Secretary M/o Law to provide technical staff, more space and funds to the library. Furthermore, he ordered that the record of the library must be computerized on the priority basis.

The library of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs is one of the oldest and biggest libraries of Pakistan. It has more than 50 thousand books. One can find almost all books and journal on legal issues in it. Apart from this, it also has vast number of books on other subject like politics, economic, religion, national and international affairs.
