Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry condemn terrorist attacks at a School in Peshawar

Lahore, December 16, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tuesday condemned in severest possible terms ugly terrorist attacks at a School in Peshawar and urged all the Parliamentary parties to take unified stand to weed out the menace of terrorism. Loss of precious innocent lives is not bearable and tolerable.

In a statement issued here, the LCCI President Ijaz A. Mumtaz, Senior Vice President Mian Nauman Kabir and Vice President Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi termed the terrorist attacks on innocent students a cowardly act and an ugly attempt to destabilize country aimed at creating an impression of unsafe place in the eyes of international community.

The LCCI office-bearers urged the government to cope with law and order related incidents with iron hands that have jolted the very basis of the country. They said that any further delay in taking a strong stand against terrorists would cause undue damage to the country therefore the President, Prime Minister and all the Chief Ministers should sit with the politicians and business leaders to evolve a methodology to get rid of this menace.
