Killing of youth in Arwani strongly denounced

Srinagar, December 09, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders and organizations have strongly condemned the killing of youth by Indian troops in Islamabad district. The troops killed three youth in a house at Hassanpora in Arwani. The troops shot dead one more youth by opening fire on demonstrators who were protesting in the area against the killings.

The Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in a statement in Srinagar termed the killings as part of the campaign of state terrorism being carried out by India against the innocent people of occupied Kashmir. He said that the occupation authorities continued to utilize all repressive methods to muzzle voice of the Kashmiri people and their leadership.

The Mirwaiz paying rich tributes to the martyred youth said that the political situation on the ground was going from bad to worse in occupied Kashmir. He said that the puppet authorities were employing all brutal methods to suppress the ongoing freedom movement but they would never succeed in their nefarious designs.

Hurriyet leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir, in his statement in Srinagar paid rich tributes to the martyred youth. He said that the Kashmiris had rendered huge sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and they would continue their struggle till complete success.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, in a statement in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste. He said that the use of brute force on peaceful protesters was nothing but frustration of the puppet authorities.

The Dukhtaran-e-Millat, General Secretary, Naheeda Nasreen in a statement in Srinagar denounced the killing of the youth. She said that Kashmiri people would never bow before India and its puppets and would take the ongoing liberation movement to its logical conclusion at all costs. She asked India to acknowledge the reality that it would not succeed to continue its illegal hold on Jammu and Kashmir for long.

The General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League, Muhammad Ramzan Khan, in his statement paid rich tributes to the martyrs. He strongly condemned the use of brute force on protesters by Indian police and troops in the area. He urged the United Nations to impress upon India to stop its brutalities on the Kashmiri people, who are demanding their right to self-determination.

The Jamaat-e-Islami of the occupied territory in a statement condemned the use of force by Indian forces on peaceful protesters in Arwani.

The Chairman of United Jihad Council, Syed Salahuddin, in a statement paid homage to the martyred youth. He said that despite using all kinds of brutal tactics, India had failed to subdue the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people. He reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to accomplish the mission of their martyrs at all costs.
