JKSM pays glowing tributes to martyred Abdul Majeed Dar

Srinagar, March 23, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, organized a prayer meeting at its headquarters in Srinagar to remember the frontline freedom fighter Shaheed Abdul Majeed Dar on his 11th martyrdom anniversary. The JKSM Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt, addressing the meeting paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Abdul Majeed Dar. He said that martyr Dar played an important role in ongoing movement.

He also paid homage to Kashmir martyrs including Haji Abdul Ghani Butt, Haji Muhammad Aslam Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Farooq Murcha, Asghar Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Ayoub Banday, Rouf Rasool, Haji Bilal, Mushtaq Ahmad Babu and Ghulam Rasool. He said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.

Zafar Akbar Butt also congratulated the government and people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day. He thanked Pakistan for its continued support to the Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom from India.

Special prayers were also held for the stability of Pakistan, early freedom of Kashmir from Indian bondage, Kashmiri martyrs and release of Kashmiri detainees languishing in different jails. Scores of party leaders and activists including Moulvi Mushtaq Ahmad, Abdul Majeed, Shafi Kashmiri, Beig Aijaz, Moulvi Rasheed, Muhammad Umar, Manzoor Ahmad, Javed Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad and Moulvi Rafiq participated in the meeting.
