JKPM stresses Pak, India talks for Kashmir settlement

Srinagar, July 27 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), Ghulam Ahmed Mir has urged Pakistan and India to initiate dialogue process to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

Ghulam Ahmed Mir addressing party workers at Thanamandi in Rajouri said that an amicable settlement of the Kashmir dispute was the only guarantee for permanent peace in South Asia. He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir were owners of their destiny and resolution of the dispute should be according to their aspirations.

APHC leader said that Pakistan and India should take the Kashmiri people into confidence for settling the Kashmir dispute through a meaningful dialogue.

He appealed to the people of occupied Kashmir to maintain unity among their ranks and be vigilant against the forces trying to divide them on sectarian lines.
