Islamabad Leaders Emphasize Spiritual Significance of Laylatul Qadr


Islamabad, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah highlighted the profound spiritual importance of Laylatul Qadr, encouraging people to use this occasion to draw nearer to Allah Almighty and seek forgiveness. Observed on the night between April 6 and 7, Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Decree, holds immense religious devotion and reverence, marking the period when the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad.



According to National Assembly of Pakistan, both leaders emphasized the exceptional nature of Laylatul Qadr, describing it as a time when angels descend to Earth, bringing peace and blessings to the faithful. The Speaker called upon citizens to pray for relief from the nation’s adversities, using the guidance of the Holy Quran to navigate through these challenges and achieve prosperity in both this life and the hereafter.



Deputy Speaker Shah elaborated on the peaceful essence of the night, urging people to embody the tranquility and harmony that Laylatul Qadr represents. He expressed his wishes for the nation to fully experience the night’s sanctity and blessings, fostering a community of peace and security.
