Indian troops martyr 15 Kashmiris in April

Srinagar, May 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred fifteen Kashmiris including a young student and an aged woman in occupied Kashmir in the last month of April.

According to the data compiled by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, of those martyred three were killed in custody. The killings rendered three women widowed and 10 children orphaned.

Four hundred six civilians (406) were injured when Indian troops and police personnel resorted to brute force and teargas shelling on peaceful protesters, while six hundred twenty eight (628) Hurriyet leaders, activists and youth were arrested during the period.

The puppet authorities booked Tehreek-e-Hurriyet leaders, Mir Hafizullah, Amir Hamza, Abdul Ghani Butt and Mohammad Amin Parray, under draconian law, Public Safety Act.

Indian paramilitary personnel disgraced five women while one residential house was destroyed during the month.
