United Nations says Indian actions in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been obstructing peacekeeping responsibilities of its Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan that monitors the Line of Control.

According to the UN audit report, the UNMOGIP military observers have no freedom of movement to conduct operational tasks on Indian side of the LoC and Working Boundary and called for measures to overcome those challenges.

The report said the military observers and international staff experience long delays in obtaining visas to travel to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
