IG Punjab Inspects Construction of Model Town Public Safety Center

Lahore, In an effort to enhance policing services in the region, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar conducted an inspection visit to the under-construction Center for Public Safety in Model Town. Accompanied by SP Model Town Division Ahmad Zunir Cheema and other officers, IG Punjab reviewed the progress of the ongoing work at the site.

According to Punjab Police, during the visit, officers briefed Dr. Usman Anwar about the current state of construction and the work yet to be completed. Emphasizing the importance of adhering to high standards, IG Punjab directed the completion of pending works with urgency. Dr. Anwar highlighted the Center's role in providing top-tier policing services to citizens in an exemplary environment, with a particular focus on establishing a special desk to cater to women citizens.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar further elaborated on the broader initiative of upgrading infrastructure across police stations and offices throughout the province to meet modern requirements.
